About
I am a Senior at Bowdoin College majoring in Mathematics and Physics, with research experience spanning experimental physics, data science, and machine learning. I am especially interested in condensed matter physics, mathematical physics, and machine learning, and plan to pursue a PhD at their intersection.
Outside academics, I’m a former competitive Olympic weightlifter, winning gold at the 2023 USA Collegiate National Championships (67 kg) and multiple Ohio state titles. I hold a USAW Level One Coaching Certificate and have worked with several athletes, developing technical skills, improving mobility and explosiveness, writing programming, and most importantly motivating and encouraging.
I also love making things from rockets and robots to furniture and metalwork. I am grateful for my experiences competing in FIRST Robotics and the American Rocketry Challenge which depended my skills and appreciation for design and problem-solving. Every day, I seek out opportunities to create, whether in research or in my free time, because building is one of the most rewarding ways to learn and grow.
